Support at Home Program

The Australian Government is launching the Support at Home program on 1 November 2025, replacing the Home Care Packages Program and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC). The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) will join no earlier than 1 July 2027. This initiative is designed to help older Australians live independently at home for longer, offering access to tailored services, equipment, and home modifications.
